Today, 11 January, is the death anniversary of Mohammad Quli Qutb Shah, the founder of Hyderabad and the builder of its iconic symbol, the Charminar. Here are a few pictures to commemorate the passing in 1612 CE of arguably the most powerful Qutb Shahi ruler.
